All it takes is... Unlocking the Power of Perspective
This immersive workshop is designed for creatives of all levels, from budding artists to seasoned pros, who wish to deepen or refresh their understanding of horizon placement, vanishing points and enhance their artistic skills through spatial relationships.
Explore the fundamental principles of perspective - one-point, two-point and three-point techniques - while learning how to apply these concepts to your own artwork.
Guided by studio artist, Jody Arnold, who is accomplished in decades of traditional technical visual art experience, participants will engage through hands-on tutorials and exercises that break down complex scenes into manageable components; helping to grasp the interplay between foreground and background, scale, and depth in a visual artwork.
Through a series of hands-on workshops, reflective journaling, and supportive group discussions, you will gain insights of perspective using pencil, allowing you to experiment and discover your unique style by later applying your knowledge to a freestyle creative project of your own.
Participants will benefit from personalised feedback, supportive peer interactions of a small class group, and a safe space to experiment and take creative risks to discover and manage the creative outlet which authentically resonates.
By the end of the course, you will have gained a deeper confidence in your visionary imagination, a pathway to grow and a journal of work that assists your unique artistic journey.

Ongoing support and peer-based connection for participants is available through the Groups portal of this site.
Course Duration and Attendance
2 hour sessions once a week for the duration of 6 weeks.
Non-attendance will be notarised as absence.
First 4 sessions need to be attended and completed in order to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Course Fees
$295 per module for five 2hr sessions of the program
