Studio Focus Challenge: How does the synchonicity of how we fuel our bodies affect creative bio-rhythms?

Power of natural bio-rhythms
How does the synchonicity of how we fuel our bodies affect our creative output?

Here is a honest and genuine creative bio-rhythm health and wellbeing self check.

Have we got it wrong about the synchronicity of how we fuel our bodies in accordance to our natural bio-rhythms?

While asleep, our bodies slow down to reset and regenerate. It enters a metamorphosis of slowing down systemic functions to rest while entering a fasting period as it realigns itself from the impact of the previous 18 hours of acute awake awareness. So that includes metabolic changes and not just somatic etc, as part of the recalibration process. So obviously, this is why rest and sleep hygiene quality is important.

Equally, our bodies, upon waking, need the high octane boost to kick start the day by reigniting those simmering latent fasting-affected systems back into full capacity for enduring the coming day ahead.

By the time we are halfway through our day, our metabolic systems are raging at full capacity to take whatever its given and allocate it to the areas of importance, before the impending routine recalibration phase returns for its regulatory implementation later that night. It is usually around this time we are the most hungriest of the entire day, and the most 'switched on' in self awareness, and consequently the most productive.

So, when we implement the western doctrine of typical breakfast, lunch and dinner habit in contrast to our natural biorhythm, are we really that suprised when our bodies are not working optimally as they should be? Low lustre energy, sickness, immunity issues, apathy, tiredness all start slowly creeping in to build up over time... lack of inspiration, motivation, creativity appearing to be more of an effort to tackle?

Shouldnt we be instead working with our biorhythms and not against them?

Do celestial events influence our creative bio-rhythms?
Do celestial events influence our creative bio-rhythms?

Our biorhythms are supported and influenced by our environmental stimulus, especially at a very primal level such as the sun rising and setting, the moon waxing and waning.... not just talking about a mindfulness or spiritual or astrological influence but rather the more scientific influence of variables in ultra violet light exposure and celestial gravitational cycles creating physics and chemistry at a biological level.

Therefore it makes sense that consumation of ingestibles being synchronised with these indigenous influences should also be factored in.

After the natural fasting period that is a standardised minimum 8 hours sleep, our bodies logically need a meal to start the ignition sequence for the main engine to power through the awake periods of our conscious reality.

Typically a continental breakfast is thought to be way to go in european countries, but the cereal manufacturing companies of the United States have convinced a global population that cereal should habitually replace that continental breakfast now as the norm.

Looking at cereal, it is a mostly fibre based meal, with optional scatterings of fruit and maybe some toast. Something you wouldnt eat for igniting a metabolic engine but rather, would consider better for clearing out a metabolic system?

So whilst cereal breakfast is important, and useful in its own way, the timing of the ingestion of it seems out of synchronicity with the bodies natural biorhythm needs when it comes to ignition of the latent metabolic functions required to endure the coming day and reset during sleeptime.

You dont need to be a scientist or expert to realise with common sense that our bodies need a decent sized meal to start the ignition systems back up for the main system to come back online for us during the day.

So, should we instead be eating our lunches for our breakfasts instead?

Lunches becoming breakfast meals.
Lunches becoming breakfast meals?

Hear me out on this one, before being up in arms and calling me crazy.

My thoughts are so far, that by the time traditional habitual cultural standardised lunchtimes roll around, our metabolism is now fired up and working at its maximum full capacity out of the whole available 24 hour cycle. So typically between 10am and 4pm during daylight hours.

Its when we feel most hungry and ready to eat a proper meal, we are operating at maximum focus awareness levels, most productive in energy levels, and so arguably at peak performance in general terms of a daily interactive output as a human.

Dinner becoming the lunchtime meal.
Dinners becoming the lunchtime meals?

Thus it makes common sense to think that this 6 hour window is where optimal absorption and dispersement of ingested nutrients should be catered for with a traditional dinner type meal instead?

Because when that metabolic wind-down initiates itself thereafter in preparation to introduce the evening recalibration phase (when it is triggered by the altering natural environmental elements such as reduced ultraviolet rays initiating at sunset), it is effectively reducing the main engine back to idle mode and effectively heightening and optimising recalibrative mode to take over.

And so, when the body is preparing for recalibration phase, it is initialising the need to declutter and detox the body systems of that days excess ingestibles both anatomically and not just emotionally and mentally...

Probiotic breakfasts becoming the dinner meals?
Probiotic breakfasts becoming the dinner meals?

...and where it kind of makes sense to be feeding the body a probiotic high fibre light meal before sleeptime (such as grains, cereals and pulses) in order to aid digestive clean out in synchornicity with its fasting biorhythm.

Habitually as cultural western custom, it is standardised habit to eat the heaviest most densest meal of the day during the most latent and lathargic biorhythm of the day...

...and yet in commonsense counterbalance, where it also kind of makes sense to be feeding the body a high fibre light meal before sleeptime instead of pressuring it down with excessive dense food it will not be able to optimally use (thus becoming the sludge of an unnecessary heavy dinner meal to contend with during the sleep phase).

Interestingly it is also this particular faux pas which can arguably be debated into whether it is partially to blame for obesity being endemic in western culture. After all, what the body doesnt use, it will either flush or store (depending on other factors the body is keeping score over such as stress impact, immunity challenges and so forth).

Does bio-rhythm imbalance contribute towards obesity being endemic in western culture?
Does bio-rhythm imbalance contribute towards obesity being endemic in western culture?

If one logically extends thought to this fact, the realisation for the breakfast meal being the dinner time meal actually has some positive benefit to support the body's natural biorhythm during the sleep phase, and ensures the optimal potential of functioning of switiching over from the post recalibration phase and reignition phase that occurs during the process of waking up from sleep.

Essentially a happier body feeling more synchronised with its natural biorhythm and thus carrying itself more harmonical with its existence.

So now, keeping in mind this is an insight of wellness theory and philosophy, goes against cultural habit and mindset, but still adheres to general basics of anatomical and broader general science, because the studio and its staff are not specialised and studied in all things medical and science, and heavily influenced by intuition and hyper vigilence, this concept is considered a safe but interesting premice to explore as a wellbeing insight experimental challenge.

If you did this synchronicity change for a month - that is still consume your usual and regular - but instead just rearranged the habit timing of those wellness aspects to be more attuned to your personal biorhythms instead of the societal customary traditional habits, how do you think your overall holistic wellness would eventuate in outcome?

If this improved your wellbeing in conclusion of your own 'testing' this 'life tweak', where you successfully reclaimed a holistic wellness improvement as a result of making such an biorhythm adjustment, would you consider integrating it permanently as a part of your overall autonomous self care management?

How does it feel when working with your natural bio-state instead of constantly contributing additional stress upon it by working against its natural bio-rhythms in order to enable and maintain comfortable cultural habits?

Importance of supporting the health and wellbeing of our biorhythms which nurture harmony between body, mind and spirit
Importance of supporting the health and wellbeing of our biorhythms which nurture harmony between body, mind and spirit

This is a philosophy which the studio is going to try as a two month creativity wellness challenge and putting this insightful theory to test, by creating a daily record, research and reflect art journal.

The studio is keen to see if there is some validating truth and beneficial outcome to embrace transformative wellness, healing and growth through simple easy personal adjustments towards true authentic living.

Lets get out of survival mode and enter thrive mode by supporting the health and wellbeing of our biorhythms which nurture harmony between body, mind and spirit. A foundation of not just stable holistic wellness but a platform to which creativity can leap from.
