Things are changing in the studio.

At the studio, the reuse and repurpose ethic is a strong value for resources. While clearing out some of the back rooms of the studio, a discarded but still highly sturcturally sound canvas was begging for a revamp.

Some may recognise it as the primed canvas for the twilight collection I had intended to follow through with on some early blogs, but the collection fell to the way side as more pressing issues managed to steal some of the limelight for a while. Inspiration is calling back for me to complete this project but with some new twists and turns instead of the original plan.

So the blogs are going to resume but take a new direction when it comes to specific projects and collection work. Subscription based blogs will centre on the process and creation of studio art work and general reflections will still be made available free here on the site from time to time.

Because the studio commitments are growing, and needing to be prioritised into what can only be so many manageable available hours a day, as the studio shifts into online accessibility in some areas, a more balanced platform can reach clients in a manner deserving.

Because the studio work has been centred on spending a decent amount of time getting the workshops online, the collection painting has been suffering a bit. Pulling this canvas out gave some messages of what it would like to become, so the crisp canvas has been put aside for now and the neglected canvas has taken centre stage.

So with a good clean off and wipe down, the canvas has been left to dry on the easel for this evening's first layer of acrylic. With ADHD easily triggered over the transformation of the design, too many inspirations are flowing through and demanding to be applied, and so for the first time in a while, the creative mind is needing to be disciplined into some temperance again, something which this canvas is going to represent as a work, and an experience to be shared in the blogs.

Maybe you would like to consider trying a similar project just to explore the imagination and temper some of those energies into a visual production that speaks the soul.
